Thankfully, the digital world has plenty of places where you can find top notch royalty-free stock photos. So, why pay out of pocket for something you can get for no cost at all?

10 Sites that Offer Excellent Free Stock Photos

1. StockSnap.io

StockSnap.io StockSnap.io has plenty of high quality photos totally free of any copyright restrictions. Instead, they’re all covered under Creative Commons, which means they’re free to use, share or modify, for personal or commercial purposes, without having to include attribution.

2. Pexels

All the photos on Pexels also fall under the creative Commons license, making them free for you to use and distribute for personal or commercial reasons, too. If you thought there weren’t any more excellent, royalty-free photo sites, here’s one more! Pixabay is unique because they also offers a variety of free illustrations and vector graphics, many with transparent backgrounds. That way, you can use them as overlays atop your other free, high-resolution photos!

5. Kaboompics

Kaboompics

My favorite thing about Kaboompics is that you can search Instagram-worthy photos and filter by orientation, color, and mode. So, if you’re looking for an image to create a pin, you can simply search for portrait images to make life WAY easier. Isn’t that nice?

Google Images

What was that? You can actually find quality, hi-resolution photos for your blog on Google? Absolutely! Google Images pulls photos from all over the web, so you can search across multiple sites to find the perfect one. Just make search you use the “advanced search” option, and filter by license. Select the option, “free to use, share, or modify, even commercially”, to make sure you’re not violating any copyright laws.

7. Over (mobile app)

Over mobile apps

Over is my absolute favorite mobile app for creating blog images. Typically, I wouldn’t resort to using my phone for something that requires precision and heavy editing, but Over makes it so easy! You can even upload your logo to the app so you can access it easily and add it to any image in a matter of seconds. You have to try it!

8. Wonderfelle Media

Wonderfelle Media

I found Wonderfelle Media after doing a little bit of research about where I could find the best feminine stock photos for my blog. I fell in love! All you have to do is subscribe to her emails. Haute Chocolate

Haute Chocolate is very similar to Wonderfelle, as in you get 10 free stock photos to your inbox as soon as you subscribe. But the photos you get are just slightly different in style.
